Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced, 32-bed Emergency Department serving a birth-to-death patient population
Apply critical care thinking and strong clinical skills across a wide range of diagnoses and emergent presentations, including strokes, STEMIs, and trauma
Maintain patient ratios of 1:4 to 1:5 while delivering high-quality patient and family-centered care
Rotate weekend hours on an every-other-weekend basis and adjust hours as needed based on census
Float to other areas within scope of competencies as part of a helping-hands model
Document accurately using Cerner EHR
Required Qualifications
Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Room experience
ACLS certification required
PALS or ENPC certification required
NIHSS certification required
Proficiency with Cerner EHR is required
Must not be a first-time traveler
Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for travel consideration
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced Emergency Department setting
Clinical experience managing stroke, STEMI, and trauma patients
Energetic, knowledgeable, and able to demonstrate stamina in a demanding environment
