Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Evening Shift (3x12 Hours, 3:00 PM – 3:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Manage a patient ratio of up to 1:7 with a focus on quality and safety
- Accurately document all patient care activities using EPIC electronic health records
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to assess, plan, and implement patient care
- Adhere to scheduling requirements including every other weekend and every other holiday
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
- Proficiency with EPIC charting system
- Must be available to complete pre-start compliance on time; no block scheduling can be accommodated
- PA Fingerprinting required; must be completed within one week of contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience as a first-time traveler welcome
- Familiarity with high-volume emergency department environments
