Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity, fast-paced 54-bed Emergency Room averaging 220 patients per day
- Deliver emergency nursing care in a Level 2 Trauma Center environment
- Assess, triage, and manage patients across a wide range of emergency and trauma presentations
- Accurately document patient care activities and clinical findings using EPIC electronic health records
- Float to other units as needed, in rotation with staff and in accordance with facility floating policies
- Participate in required orientation modules and annual competency training via the Relias/Net Learning portal
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
- Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (NIH certification accepted as pending at time of submission)
- Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records system
- 2-Step PPD and Flu Vaccine required – no exemptions accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a Level 2 Trauma Center or similarly high-acuity emergency setting
- Familiarity with high-volume emergency departments and rapid patient throughput environments
- Experience with holiday and weekend scheduling in a travel or per diem capacity
