Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Work an expected schedule of 3x12-hour night shifts per week (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Fulfill 2 weekend shifts or 4 weekend days per 6-week scheduling cycle
- Work holidays as needed based on departmental requirements
- May be floated to other campus locations within the health system as needed
- Complete all required compliance modules and orientation activities; module hours are unit-based and non-billable, averaging 2–4 hours
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- EPIC EMR experience required
- All RNs must pass a compliance EKG exam (2 attempts allowed)
- No background cases with open status permitted
- Third-party education verification required; degrees from schools on the Florida Diploma Fraud Audit list will not be accepted
- Current driver's license required to verify address
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; no local candidates within a 50-mile radius

Preferred Experience / Skills
- CPI certification preferred
- PALS certification preferred
- TNCC certification preferred
- Previous Charge RN experience preferred
- Level 2 Trauma experience preferred
