Key Responsibilities
- Provide immediate, critical care to patients presenting with acute injuries or illnesses in a fast-paced emergency room environment
- Perform rapid patient assessments and triage to prioritize care based on acuity
- Stabilize patients and administer treatments as directed by the care team
- Assist physicians during medical interventions and emergency procedures
- Accurately document patient care and clinical findings using Cerner
Required Qualifications
- Active Michigan RN license (LARA and Nursys verification required)
- Minimum 2 years of RN Emergency Room experience
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- ACLS (AHA) certification required
- PALS (AHA) certification required
- Proficiency with Cerner EMR required
- Completed RN skills checklist within the past year required
- Must reside more than 35 miles from the facility to be eligible at standard contract rates
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification preferred
