Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Float to a nearby affiliated facility as needed based on staffing requirements
- Complete required facility orientation modules, including any assigned during orientation period
Required Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) state license required at time of submission
- PA Fingerprinting (Childline) required — must be completed within one week of contract signing; results may take up to 2–4 weeks to process
- Valid certifications and professional references required at time of submission
- Must complete required labs within 48 hours of contract signing
- Pass/Fail clinical competency exam required for clearance — candidates have a maximum of 3 attempts
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
- Familiarity with acute care hospital systems and workflows
- Ability to adapt quickly to varying patient volumes and acuity levels
