Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Contract)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 4 weekend shifts per schedule | No on-call required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including cardioversion, TNK administration, and moderate sedation
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, paramedics, and PCTs in a fast-paced ED environment
- Document patient care accurately using Meditech EMR
- Maintain ALS, BLS, ENPC, and TNCC certifications throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Texas
- ALS and BLS certifications required
- TNCC and ENPC (or PALS) certifications required
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 2 or more years of Emergency Department experience
- ENPC certification preferred over PALS
- Team-oriented, flexible, and positive demeanor with the ability to adapt to fluctuating patient volumes
