    Travel Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Full-Time | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency nursing care to patients presenting with acute and critical conditions
    • Perform thorough patient assessments, triage, and ongoing monitoring in a fast-paced emergency department environment
    • Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary care teams to ensure seamless transitions of care
    • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with established clinical protocols
    • Accurately document patient information, care provided, and outcomes in the electronic health record
    • Communicate effectively with patients and their families to support understanding of care plans and promote positive outcomes
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or compact licensure eligibility
    • Minimum of 1 year of emergency department nursing experience
    • Current BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a high-volume emergency setting
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency department setting
    • Familiarity with electronic health record systems used in acute care environments
    • Experience working within a large health system or multi-specialty hospital network
