Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas or a compact license
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour day shifts in a high-volume emergency care environment
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Experience in a high-acuity or Level I/II trauma center emergency department
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
