Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient treatment plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and clinical protocols
- Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a qualifying compact state
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Ability to work 12-hour midshift hours (3:00 PM – 3:00 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Experience with high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency environments
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
