    TravelNurseSource is working with Concentric Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified ER/Trauma RN in Fort Wayne, Indiana, 46804!

    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Department

    Location

    Fort Wayne, IN | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM | Expected 72–96 hours bi-weekly

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Department setting with a 1:4 patient ratio
    • Support operations within a Trauma Level 2 facility, Comprehensive Stroke Center, Comprehensive Cardiac Center, and Pediatric Hospital in a Hospital
    • Participate in Sepsis Key Focus Performance initiatives as a clinical priority
    • Document patient care accurately using Cerner EMR
    • Adhere to unit expectations including block scheduling; must be available to work both Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN licensure in the state of Indiana
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
    • Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • 5 or more years of Emergency Department experience strongly preferred
    • TNCC, PALS/ENPC, and/or NRP certifications preferred
    • Prior experience in a Trauma Level 2 or similarly complex acute care environment
