Contract | 13 Weeks | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Every other weekend required; holiday shifts required if holiday falls on scheduled rotation
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of acute and emergent conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate timely and effective patient management
- Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical outcomes in the electronic medical record
- Maintain compliance with all facility policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Mississippi
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume emergency department environment
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Strong critical thinking and rapid clinical decision-making skills
