Contract | Travel | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Every other weekend required; holiday coverage required if holiday falls on rotation | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during night shift hours
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient treatment
- Adhere to facility protocols, safety standards, and documentation requirements
- Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Mississippi
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- NIHSS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Must maintain a permanent address at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume or trauma-level emergency department
- Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Strong triage assessment and critical thinking skills
