Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Night Shift Contract)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Nights | 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM | Every Other Weekend | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 41-bed Emergency Department with a patient ratio of 1:4 (core) and 1:6 (fast track)
- Work night shift alongside a team that includes a charge nurse, trauma nurse, unit clerk, and mixed paramedic/tech/RN mid-shift staff
- Utilize Meditech EMR for documentation and patient management
- Operate within established unit guidelines; special equipment training provided during orientation
- Complete CPI training within 6 weeks of onboarding
Required Qualifications
- Active Texas RN license or valid Compact RN license
- BLS/BCLS certification required
- ACLS/ALS certification required
- ENPC or PALS certification required
- TNCC certification required
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department RN experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a high-volume emergency department environment
- Familiarity with Meditech EMR
- Strong adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting
