Registered Nurse – Emergency Room (Travel Contract)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 4 weekend days required per scheduling period
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 26-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio on night shift
- Perform procedures including IV insertion, EKG, in-and-out Foley catheterization, lumbar puncture, central line management, moderate sedation, and cardioversion
- Operate and monitor equipment including ventilators, EKG machines, and Teleneuro systems
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including CNCs, HUCs, and PCTs/Paramedics to deliver safe, high-quality emergency care
- Document patient care accurately using an EMR system (Level 3)
- Maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS or ENPC, and TNCC certifications as required throughout the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS or ENPC certification required
- TNCC certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- STABLE certification
- NRP certification
- Team-oriented, adaptable, and enthusiastic personality with a willingness to learn
