Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 4x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a combined adult and pediatric emergency department setting
- Perform triage assessments and implement appropriate isolation precautions
- Deliver care in a STEMI-certified and Stroke-certified facility environment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to manage high-acuity and time-sensitive patient presentations
- Adhere to all facility protocols, compliance requirements, and orientation expectations
Required Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania RN license or valid Compact RN license required at time of submission
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
- ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, MAB, and PALS certifications required
- Demonstrated experience with isolation precautions and triage
- Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible at the standard travel rate; candidates within 50 miles are subject to a local rate differential
- PA Fingerprinting is required and must be completed within one week of contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC certification preferred
- Trauma Center experience preferred
