Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in an Emergency Department setting with Med/Surg and Telemetry crossover
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients across varying acuity levels
- Monitor and interpret telemetry readings and respond to changes in patient condition
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure
- Current BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Prior experience in Emergency Department, Med/Surg, or Telemetry nursing
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a combined Med/Surg/Telemetry and Emergency Department environment
- Ability to adapt quickly to fluctuating patient volumes and acuity levels
- Holiday availability preferred
