Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (19:00–07:00) | Every Other Weekend Required
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:2–3
- Assess, monitor, and respond to patients presenting with emergent and urgent conditions
- Float within scope of practice to meet facility needs as required
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using electronic health record systems
- Participate in on-call responsibilities as applicable to facility needs
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required; first-time travelers are not eligible for this position
- Active Oklahoma RN license or valid Compact RN license required — pending licensure will not be accepted
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and De-escalation Course
- Must live within 45 miles of the facility to be considered a local candidate; locals are welcome to apply
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech charting system preferred
- Ability to accommodate a block schedule is a plus
