Contract | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Monday – Sunday | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a general Emergency Department averaging 113 patients per day
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and non-emergent conditions
- Deliver care in alignment with ECC Certification and Stroke Center Certification standards
- Document patient information and care activities accurately using Cerner EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
- Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
- Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
- Experience working in a high-volume Emergency Department
- Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records system
