Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Perform ECG rhythm recognition and adhere to medication safety protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
- Complete required facility modules and competency assessments prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent experience in Emergency Room nursing
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license — must be in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA ACLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
- Active PALS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
- One professional reference from a manager, assistant nurse manager, supervisor, or director within the specialty from the past 12 months required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification preferred
- Experience gained within a single facility location is preferred, though not required
