Contract | Travel | Days | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | 13-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct patient care in a 24-bed Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio (5:1 during surge)
Perform procedures including port access, IV starts, venipuncture, nasal wash, Foley placement, and EKG
Conduct point-of-care testing including troponin, lactic acid, and urine dip
Document and manage patient care using Meditech and CPN EMR systems
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge nurses, EMTs, and unit clerks across day and night shifts
Required Qualifications
Active RN license with at least 1 year of current hospital Emergency Department experience
BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, NIH, and ENPC required (PALS will be accepted in lieu of ENPC)
CPI Blue Card required
Ability to work with GE monitoring equipment
Preferred Experience / Skills
CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification
CPEN certification and/or ultrasound-guided IV competency
Pediatric Emergency Department experience
