    Job Title

    Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER)

    Location

    Denton, TX | Acute Care

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Weekend commitment expected (6 shifts per 6-week schedule)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-volume Emergency Room seeing 135+ patients per day across a 41-bed unit
    • Manage a 4:1 patient-to-nurse ratio, delivering care to a diverse patient population including Stroke, ACS, Diabetic, and AKD presentations
    • Support operations within a Primary Stroke Center and Accredited Chest Pain Center with 24/7 Cath Lab access
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams in a facility actively pursuing Level 3 Trauma designation and housing a Level 3 NICU
    • Maintain required certifications including TNCC, BLS, ACLS, and PALS (or ENPC) throughout the assignment
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • TNCC certification required
    • BLS certification required
    • ACLS certification required
    • PALS or ENPC certification required
    • CPI certification may be required upon extension
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Prior trauma nursing experience highly preferred
    • Experience in high-volume emergency department settings
    • Familiarity with stroke, cardiac, and critical care patient populations
