Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Free Standing Emergency Department setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients across varying acuity levels
- Document patient information accurately and in a timely manner using the facility's electronic documentation system
- Respond to call requirements as needed per unit policy
- Float to other units as needed based on facility staffing requirements
- Adhere to all facility dress code, attendance, and unit-specific policies and guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active RN License required — temporary licenses will not be accepted
- Minimum 2+ years of overall RN experience
- Minimum 2+ years of Emergency Room specialty experience
- NIH Stroke Scale certification required
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech electronic documentation system strongly preferred
- Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or free standing ED environment
