Contract | 13-Week Travel Assignment | Days, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Rotating Weekends
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct bedside nursing care to emergency department patients at a 4:1 or 5:1 patient ratio
- Perform and assist with procedures including tPA administration, STEMI care, CPR, laceration repair, and orthopedic care
- Triage patients and prioritize care based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately using Meditech EMR
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including charge nurses, HUCs, and patient care technicians
- Adhere to unit dress code (royal blue scrubs) and all applicable unit policies and guidelines
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas
- Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIH Stroke Scale, and TNCC
- Proficiency with Philips monitoring equipment
- Experience with Meditech EMR

- Experience in a high-volume acute care emergency department setting
