Contract | Travel | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM) | 6-Week Assignment
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a freestanding emergency department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients presenting with a wide range of emergency conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the electronic health record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in the state of Texas or a compact license
- Minimum of 1 year of emergency department nursing experience
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Ability to work 12-hour overnight shifts (6:00 PM – 6:00 AM)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior experience in a freestanding emergency department environment
- Experience with travel nursing assignments
- TNCC or CEN certification preferred
