Contract | Night Shift | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Schedule Varies
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care and facilitate timely disposition
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record
- Expected to work 2 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Emergency Room / Emergency Department nursing
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma emergency department
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills in emergent situations
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
