    Job Title

    Travel RN – Emergency Department

    Location

    Corpus Christi, Texas

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, documentation, and medication administration across ESI levels 1 through 5
    • Provide wound care, splinting, IV placement, urine collection, and lab draws
    • Operate cardiac monitors, IV pumps, and other department equipment including Tonopen and HPs within an EMR environment (Meditech)
    • Participate in mandatory shift huddles at the start of each shift unless actively providing critical care
    • Fulfill triage, charge, or bedside nurse roles as assigned within a 16-bed emergency department with 8 additional hall chairs
    • Deliver timely, compassionate care for Stroke, STEMI, Sepsis, and Trauma patients in a facility transitioning to Level II trauma designation
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
    • Level II or Level III trauma experience required
    • Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
    • TNCC, ENPC, or PALS certification required
    • Completion of EMTALA training (mandatory)
    • Demonstrated compassion, sense of urgency, and strong teamwork skills
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) or TCRN certification
    • CPI certification
    • Greater than two years of emergency department experience
