Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with a 4:1 patient ratio across a 12-bed unit
- Perform and assist with critical procedures including STEMI response, Stroke/TPA administration, and RSI
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including ER Techs and unit secretarial staff across night shift hours
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the unit's EMR system
- Demonstrate strong clinical judgment in high-acuity neurological and cardiac patient presentations
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license with a minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- ENPC or PALS certification required
- CPI certification required
- TNCC certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Strong background in neurological and cardiac emergency care
- Experience in high-energy, fast-paced emergency department environments
- Familiarity with STEMI, Stroke/TPA, and RSI protocols
