Key Responsibilities
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation using Meditech EMR
Administer medications and provide care for patients across all acuity levels (ESI 1 through 5)
Perform procedures including wound care, splinting, IV placement, lab draws, and urine collection
Participate in mandatory shift huddles at the start of each shift unless actively providing critical care
Complete required EMTALA training in accordance with department policy

Required Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 1 year of emergency department experience
Level II or Level III trauma experience required
Current TNCC, ENPC, or PALS certification
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Demonstrated compassion, sense of urgency, and strong teamwork skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) or TCRN certification
CPI certification
Greater than two years of emergency department experience
