ED RN – Nights (Emergency Room)

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Nights | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during night shift hours
- Assess, triage, and manage emergency patients across a range of acuity levels
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to deliver timely and effective emergency interventions
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Complete organization-approved workplace violence training by the last day of the month following the 90-day grace period
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of Emergency Room RN experience required; recent ER experience is mandatory
- Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 5 years required
- Active Oregon RN State License required
- AHA BLS certification required
- AHA ACLS certification required or must be obtained within 6 months of hire
- AHA PALS or ENPC certification required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire
- TNCC required or must be obtained within 1 year of hire
Preferred Experience / Skills
- CEN (Certified Emergency Nurse) certification or equivalent preferred
- Experience managing high-acuity and diverse emergency patient populations
