Key Responsibilities
Apply the nursing process to the care of patients within the RN scope of practice as defined by the Oregon State Board of Nursing
Educate patients and significant others regarding care, treatment, and health management
Accurately document patient care and clinical findings in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to effectively coordinate overall patient care
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of emergency department experience required
Recent acute care hospital experience within the past 2 years required
Active or ability to obtain Oregon RN license prior to start
BLS certification (AHA) required or willingness to obtain
ACLS certification (AHA) required or willingness to obtain
TNCC and PALS (AHA) certifications required or willingness to obtain
Preferred Experience / Skills
Experience working in a comprehensive acute care hospital environment serving patients of all ages
Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols across pediatric and adult patient populations
