Emergency Department Registered Nurse

Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Night Shift (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM)
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective treatment
- Monitor and document patient conditions, interventions, and responses to treatment
- Prioritize and triage patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Ohio or compact licensure
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Prior experience in an Emergency Department or acute care setting
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Preferred Experience / Skills
- TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
- Experience with high-volume emergency department environments
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
