Key Responsibilities
- Serve as Charge RN in a Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department, providing leadership and oversight during night shift weekend hours
- Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department, comprising approximately 60% of the role
- Provide charge backup support to Medical/Surgical and Stepdown units, comprising approximately 40% of the role
- Float to Med/Surg and Stepdown units as needed, accepting and managing patients in those areas
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize, treat, and facilitate appropriate disposition of patients, including transfer coordination when required
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire (must be current at time of submission)
- Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Room experience
- Previous Charge RN experience (must be documented in work history)
- Willingness and ability to float to Med/Surg and Stepdown units and care for patients in those settings
- Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all must be current)
- Active TNCC certification (must be current)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital setting
- Previous travel nursing experience
- NRP certification
