    Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Charge RN (Nights)

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Nights | 36 hours per week | Friday, Saturday, Sunday | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

    Key Responsibilities
    • Serve as Charge RN in a Critical Access Hospital Emergency Department, providing leadership and oversight during night shift weekend hours
    • Deliver direct patient care in the Emergency Department, comprising approximately 60% of the role
    • Provide charge backup support to Medical/Surgical and Stepdown units, comprising approximately 40% of the role
    • Float to Med/Surg and Stepdown units as needed, accepting and managing patients in those areas
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to stabilize, treat, and facilitate appropriate disposition of patients, including transfer coordination when required
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New Hampshire (must be current at time of submission)
    • Minimum 2 years of current Emergency Room experience
    • Previous Charge RN experience (must be documented in work history)
    • Willingness and ability to float to Med/Surg and Stepdown units and care for patients in those settings
    • Active American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (all must be current)
    • Active TNCC certification (must be current)
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Previous experience working in a Critical Access Hospital setting
    • Previous travel nursing experience
    • NRP certification
