    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 17-bed Emergency Department serving a primarily adult and geriatric population, with some pediatric patients
    • Efficiently and safely manage a team of patients at varying acuity levels, maintaining a 1:4 patient ratio
    • Recognize and respond to changes in patient status, including common presentations such as chest pain, abdominal pain, and psychiatric emergencies
    • Document patient care accurately using the ED Paragon EHR system
    • Participate in self-scheduling through the When to Work application, including every other weekend rotation
    • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team in a Joint Commission Accredited, Chest Pain Center–designated facility
    Required Qualifications
    • Active RN license (minimum ADN)
    • Required certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS, and NIH Stroke
    • Minimum 2–3 years of Emergency Department experience
    • Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience
    • Must live 60 miles or greater from the facility to be eligible for travel rates
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience managing patients with chest pain, abdominal pain, and behavioral health presentations
    • Comfort with high-acuity and rapidly changing patient conditions
    • Familiarity with ED-specific EHR platforms
    • Team-oriented, adaptable, and personable work style
