Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced emergency room environment
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure timely and effective patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, care provided, and clinical findings in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa or compact licensure eligibility
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Experience in an emergency room or acute care setting
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Prior travel or contract nursing experience
- Familiarity with emergency department triage systems and protocols
- Experience with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
