Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room environment
- Perform triage assessments and prioritize patient care based on acuity
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as ordered by the treating physician
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and responses in the medical record
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license in the state of Iowa or a compact state license
- Current BLS certification required
- Current ACLS certification required
- Minimum of 1–2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with mixed or varied shift scheduling in a high-volume ED setting
- Familiarity with emergency triage protocols and trauma care
- Strong critical thinking and clinical decision-making skills
