    Registered Nurse – Emergency Room

    Schedule / Job Type

    Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting
    • Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
    • Participate in holiday coverage rotation, working at minimum every other holiday
    • Complete required annual hands-on competency training and facility-assigned modules
    • Maintain compliance with all facility policies, protocols, and documentation standards
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Emergency Room nursing; travel experience may be considered
    • Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license required at time of submission – no exceptions
    • Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at time of submission – no pending certifications accepted
    • Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)
    • One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months is required
    • No open background case or license hits; background and fingerprinting (BCI/FBI) must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Active TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
    • 18 months of Emergency Room experience within a single facility location
