Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at time of submission – no pending certifications accepted. One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months is required.
Provide direct patient care in a high-acuity Emergency Room setting
Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments during orientation
Participate in holiday coverage rotation, working at minimum every other holiday
Complete required annual hands-on competency training and facility-assigned modules
Maintain compliance with all facility policies, protocols, and documentation standards
Required Qualifications
Minimum 18 months of combined permanent experience in Emergency Room nursing; travel experience may be considered
Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license required at time of submission – no exceptions
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required at time of submission – no pending certifications accepted
Must pass ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment during orientation (maximum of 2 attempts)
One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months is required
No open background case or license hits; background and fingerprinting (BCI/FBI) must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
Preferred Experience / Skills
Active TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course) certification
18 months of Emergency Room experience within a single facility location
