    Contract | Full-Time | Nights (6:00 PM – 6:30 AM) | 36–48 hours per week | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in the Emergency Department setting in accordance with established nursing standards and protocols
    • Float to ICU as needed, applying acute critical care nursing skills across patient populations
    • Utilize EPIC electronic health records system for documentation and patient management
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
    • Adhere to all departmental standards of behavior and reporting structures under the Director of Emergency Department
    Required Qualifications
    • Current Registered Nurse license issued by the State of California
    • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications — must be current
    • At least one year of Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months, with acute critical care experience within the last 12 months; or EMT/ED Tech background with a minimum of 2 years of experience in good standing
    • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
    • EPIC EMR experience required
    • Basic computer skills
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Emergency Room and/or ICU nursing experience strongly preferred due to potential floating requirements
    • MICN certification (desired; must be completed within one year of hire if not already obtained)
    • NRP, TNCC, and/or CEN certifications encouraged and recommended
