Key Responsibilities

• Provide emergency nursing care across a broad spectrum of presentations including trauma, cardiac events, burns, poisonings, and behavioral health emergencies
• Triage and prioritize patients based on acuity, ensuring timely and appropriate interventions
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of physicians, nurses, and paramedics trained in emergency medicine
• Stabilize patients for inpatient admission or transfer when specialty or higher-level care is required
• Operate within a department that includes triage rooms, treatment rooms, dedicated trauma rooms, pediatric and psychiatric rooms, and a specialized decontamination area
• Maintain active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (American Heart Association) throughout the assignment

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department (ED) experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience of at least 3 months required — non-negotiable
• Rural or small facility experience required
• Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license required
• Active American Heart Association BLS required
• Active American Heart Association ACLS required
• Active American Heart Association PALS required
• Must have personal reliable transportation
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification highly preferred
• Experience working in a critical access or small community hospital setting
