    Key Responsibilities
    • Provides individualized, holistic, and age-specific patient and family care using the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
    • Develops and adapts comprehensive plans of care in collaboration with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
    • Identifies and responds to patient and family educational needs through individualized education plans, applying adult-learning theory.
    • Serves as a patient and family advocate, encouraging participation in decision-making and upholding individual and family rights.
    • Delegates and assigns care to other healthcare team members within their scope of practice and competency.
    • Coordinates and communicates with healthcare team members and ancillary staff to expedite patient progress and workflow.
    Required Qualifications
    • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
    • Current CPR certification.
    • Current ACLS certification.
    • Current PALS certification.
    • NIH Stroke Scale certification.
    • CPI or comparable crisis prevention certification (minimum 8-hour course with at least half completed in person).
    • Minimum of three years of recent RN experience in an RN role.
    • Minimum of two years of recent RN experience in a specialty area.
    • Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Experience working in an Emergency Room or high-acuity clinical setting.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, new, or high-risk clinical situations by collaborating with or seeking additional resources.
