Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 19-bed Emergency Department with a 4-bed psychiatric pod, maintaining a 4:1 patient ratio
- Utilize strong sepsis and stroke clinical skillsets in a chest pain and stroke certified facility
- Document patient care accurately using the Meditech electronic documentation system
- Operate unit equipment including Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and Lifepak defibrillators
- Float as needed to the psychiatric pod or to alternate system Emergency Department locations
- Collaborate with unit secretaries and technicians available on both day and night shifts
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- ACLS certification required
- BLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- CPI certification required
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a chest pain or stroke certified facility
- Familiarity with Meditech documentation systems
- Experience working with telepsychiatry or psychiatric patient populations
- Strong sepsis and stroke assessment and intervention skills
