Travel RN – Emergency Department (Night Shift)

Contract | Travel | 13-Week Assignment | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | 36 Hours per Week | Onsite
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department with 19 beds plus a 4-bed psychiatric pod
- Maintain a 4:1 patient ratio while delivering high-quality, evidence-based nursing care
- Apply strong sepsis and stroke clinical skillsets in alignment with Chest Pain and Stroke certification standards
- Utilize electronic documentation system (Meditech) for accurate and timely patient charting
- Operate unit equipment including Hillrom, Stryker, GE, and LifePak defibrillators
- Float as needed to the psychiatric pod or to alternate Emergency Department locations within the same health system
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
- Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience with Meditech electronic health records documentation
- Strong background in sepsis and stroke recognition and management
- Familiarity with tele-psychiatry workflows or psychiatric patient care in an ED setting
