Travel Nurse RN - Emergency Room (ER) / Trauma in Charlottesville, VA

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting during night shift hours
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for emergency patients including pediatric populations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Float within scope of practice to other units as staffing needs require
• Complete specialty-specific orientation modules as assigned during onboarding

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or Virginia license pending (must be in hand by the Wednesday prior to start date)
• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
• At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma Center experience, or at least 2 years of Level 2 Trauma Center experience, including some pediatric experience
• ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required prior to start
• TNCC required (candidates may submit with TNCC pending, but must obtain before start date)
• Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

• BSN degree preferred
• Experience in high-volume or academic medical center emergency departments
