    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting, including patients across the adult and pediatric populations
    • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in accordance with clinical protocols
    • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
    • Utilize Epic EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities
    • Float within scope of practice to other units as needed based on staffing requirements
    • Work 2 out of 3 winter holidays as required by unit scheduling policies
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Virginia RN license (pending license accepted; must be in hand by the Wednesday before start date)
    • ACLS, BLS, and PALS required; TNCC required (may submit with TNCC pending, but must have prior to start)
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room nursing experience required
    • At least 1 year of Level 1 Trauma Center experience, or at least 2 years of Level 2 Trauma Center experience, including some pediatric experience
    • Epic EMR experience required
    • Nursys verification required at time of submission
    • Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • BSN preferred
    • Experience in a high-volume or academic medical center emergency department
    • Broad pediatric emergency care experience
