    Registered Nurse (RN) – Emergency Room (ER) – Nights

    Contract | Full-Time | Night Shift | Onsite

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a 34-bed Emergency Department serving a mixed patient population
    • Manage patient assignments at a 4:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, including drips and titrations
    • Utilize EPIC EMR for accurate and timely documentation of patient care
    • Float to a freestanding emergency campus as needed
    • Participate in holiday coverage requirements as directed by unit scheduling needs
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum 24 months of current Emergency Room / Emergency Department nursing experience
    • Must have completed at least one travel contract within the previous 18 months
    • Active Iowa RN license or active Compact/Multistate license at time of submission
    • Active EPIC EMR experience required
    • Active AHA or ARC BLS certification required
    • Active AHA ACLS certification required
    • Active AHA PALS certification required
    • TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Competency) certification required
    • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required (may be obtained during onboarding)
