    Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Nights (6:30 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Floating and call required

    Key Responsibilities
    • Provide direct patient care in a Level 3 Trauma Emergency Department utilizing the Nursing Process in accordance with the state Nurse Practice Act and facility policies and procedures
    • Perform thorough patient assessments and communicate clinical findings effectively to the care team
    • Administer medications accurately and monitor patients for side effects and adverse reactions
    • Demonstrate critical thinking and clinical judgment in anticipating and planning for the safe delivery of emergency patient care
    • Delegate patient care priorities commensurate with the education and experience of available staff; provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
    • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of patient care while adhering to safety standards, infection control protocols, and quality improvement initiatives
    Required Qualifications
    • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in New Mexico
    • Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
    • Current ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications required
    • Proficiency with EMR systems; experience with MedHost (EDIS) a plus
    • Must be available for floating assignments and on-call shifts (call requirement: minimum 2 hours prior to shift start)
    • Candidates must be submitted through an agency registered with the State of New Mexico; fingerprinting is required for all New Mexico travelers
    Preferred Experience / Skills
    • Current NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification preferred
    • Prior travel nursing experience in an emergency or trauma setting
