One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the Emergency Department specialty, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months. Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted).
Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting during night shift hours
Perform ECG rhythm recognition and medication safety assessments as required during orientation
Utilize electronic health record systems to document and manage patient care
Rotate holiday coverage, working at minimum every other holiday as scheduled
Maintain compliance with all facility competency and annual education requirements throughout the contract
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in Emergency Department nursing
Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license in hand at time of submission
Active AHA or American Red Cross ACLS, BLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications in hand at time of submission (no pending certifications accepted)
Demonstrated Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills
18 months of Emergency Department experience within a single location
Prior travel nursing experience in an Emergency Room setting
