Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Department setting
- Assess, monitor, and triage patients presenting with a wide range of acute conditions
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate and deliver timely, high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in accordance with facility standards
- Maintain AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications throughout the duration of the assignment
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum of 2 years of recent Emergency Room experience
- Required certifications: AHA BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS
- Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or Level I/II trauma Emergency Department
- Strong critical thinking and prioritization skills in high-acuity environments
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems
