Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced Emergency Room setting
- Assess, triage, and prioritize patients based on acuity and clinical presentation
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders and established protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, care plans, and interventions accurately in the medical record
- Assignment is unit-specific — no floating required
Required Qualifications
- Active RN license (Compact license accepted)
- Minimum 2 years of Emergency Room experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience in a high-volume or Level II/III Emergency Department
- Strong triage and critical thinking skills in an acute care environment
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) documentation systems
