Registered Nurse – Emergency Department (Travel)

Contract | Travel | Days | 13 Weeks | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM | Expected 36 hours/week
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 23-bed Emergency Department with patient ratios of 4 to 6
- Assess, triage, and manage a diverse ED patient population across the full acuity spectrum
- Document accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
- Participate in every other weekend rotation as expected by unit scheduling needs
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient outcomes
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license valid in Maine or compact state eligibility
- Minimum 2–5 years of Emergency Department nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- ACLS certification required
- PALS certification required
- CPI or MOAB certification required — must be obtained prior to start date
- NIHSS certification required
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Charge nurse experience in an Emergency Department setting
- Familiarity with standard ED education modules and protocols
- Prior travel nursing experience
